Framework
Ebb & Flow supplies the model language: pressure, rotation, compression, confluence, and regime transition.
XG Signal Lab
Market structure, pressure-field state, distribution rotation, and global narrative context presented as an Ebb & Flow-inspired observatory for how the firm studies state change.
Application
BTC/USD pressure fields, dominance rotation, and a daily GDELT narrative field.
Purpose
Demonstrate how XGCS studies state change across market and non-market data.
Framework
Ebb & Flow supplies the model language: pressure, rotation, compression, confluence, and regime transition.
Instrument
Signal Lab is the public exhibit layer for Ebb & Flow-inspired research instrumentation, turning market and narrative state into observable exhibits.
How to read it
Green means constructive pressure, red means defensive pressure, dark means compression. The panels are designed to show state, not trade calls.
Update cadence
BTC/USD updates on the market publisher cadence. GDELT remains a daily narrative field, shown through the same visual language at the right timescale.

Exhibit I / BTC Pressure Field
This panel translates a stack of fast-to-slow state lanes into a visual field. Each vertical slice is one market sample. Top rows react faster; lower rows move more slowly. Color expresses direction and intensity, not a published trading rule.
How to read it
Read left to right. Bright green means bullish pressure is expanding; bright red means bearish pressure is expanding; dark regions show compression or mixed state.
Update cadence
The BTC/USD chart, heatmap, and dominance distribution are emitted from the same market timeframe shown on the panel.
Why it matters
The heatmap makes regime transitions visible before they collapse into one number.

Dominance Distribution
The distribution pane summarizes the same BTC/USD pressure field as bullish, bearish, neutral, and composite state traces. For a visitor, the goal is simple: see whether pressure is concentrating, rotating, or compressing.
How to read it
When green and red traces separate, directional dominance is increasing. When the neutral trace rises, the field is compressing or losing direction. The yellow trace is a public composite summary.
Exhibit III / GDELT Pressure Field
GDELT is displayed as a daily non-market field. The selected lane is screened against BTC/USD, then rendered through a familiar pressure-field exhibit so viewers can compare market state with an exogenous narrative environment.
Candidate lanes
Inflation pressure, recession pressure, energy stress, geopolitical friction, cyber disruption, and supply-chain stress.
Selection logic
Prefer lanes with low rolling absolute correlation to BTC/USD returns so the field remains meaningfully different from the market series.
Cadence
Daily GDELT context, cached separately from the BTC/USD market publisher.

Exhibit IV / Recent State History
Each row compresses a recent snapshot into dominance mass and extreme-state intensity for a quick read of regime transition. The history only updates when the publisher posts a new sample.
Each bar splits one snapshot's dominance mass into three shares that always total 100%. T‑1 is the most recent published snapshot and T‑5 is five snapshots earlier, so the rows read oldest at the top. The right-hand number is the extreme-state index on a 0–100 scale.
