Research program / Ebb & Flow
A framework for reading pressure before consensus sees the break
XG Ebb & Flow translates cycles, momentum, confluence, and regime shifts into decision intelligence for markets, businesses, and frontier systems.
Program 01 / Public framework
Ebb & Flow
Ebb & Flow is not a single indicator. It is a framework for interpreting interacting signals across time, pressure, and behavior, and it is published here as the house language rather than as a claim about returns.
- Research question
- Can interacting pressure, momentum, confluence, and regime signals make timing-sensitive decisions more legible?
- Program state
- Public framework
- Evidence mode
- Conceptual record. The framework is published as model language, not as a tested result.
- Lab / provenance
- XGCS / E&F
- Revision history
- Revision date not published.
- Claim boundary
- The framework does not promise investment performance, and it does not remove uncertainty from a decision.
Method / Six readings
The model tracks the conditions that precede visible outcomes.
Each reading is a question asked of the same field at the same moment. The framework is the way they are held together, not any one of them in isolation.
- 01
Cyclical pressure
Where stress is accumulating before it forces a reaction.
- 02
Momentum shifts
Where directional energy is decelerating, reversing, or accelerating.
- 03
Confluence
Where independent signals begin to reinforce the same thesis.
- 04
Regime change
Where the underlying rule set changes and old assumptions decay.
- 05
Emerging risk
Where small disturbances can compound into material exposure.
- 06
Timing windows
Where action, delay, or observation carries different expected value.
Derivative work / Two directions
The framework becomes built work in two directions.
The framework can support research products, risk monitors, forecasting systems, and executive decision workflows. Whatever the surface, the work resolves into one of two problems: turning observation into a signal, or turning a signal into a decision someone is accountable for.
Signal architecture
Translate raw observations into weighted signals, confluence maps, trigger conditions, and alert logic.
Decision architecture
Connect signals to scenario plans, risk constraints, human review points, and adaptive decision protocols.
Framework in motion / Public exhibit
Signal Lab exhibits the visual language of Ebb & Flow.
Ebb & Flow defines the model language: pressure, confluence, rotation, compression, and regime transition. Signal Lab turns that language into public visualization, a live exhibit of how XGCS studies state change. It shows pressure fields, dominance rotation, and semantic context while internal formulas and trading rules remain private.
- Theory
- Ebb & Flow explains the pressure-cycle framework.
- Instrumentation
- Signal Lab shows public, non-proprietary visual expressions of the model language.
- Application
- BTC/USD market structure, heatmap fields, dominance distributions, and daily semantic context.
- Boundary
- The exhibit communicates method, craft, and visual language while internal formulas remain private.

Kairos Dynamics
XGCS remains the origin of Ebb & Flow. Kairos Dynamics is the separate company being formed to productize selected licensed technology; that licence is planned and not yet executed.
